The family-owned business that cut the processing time for its supplier invoices in half

Mårdskog & Lindkvist AB is a family-run business that distributes food products to hotels, restaurants, and catering companies throughout southern Sweden. With over 1,500 customers and offices in several locations, they faced a challenge: processing supplier invoices took too long and required far too much manual work.

Every invoice received by the company had to be processed manually—from receipt to entry, approval, and finally filing. With offices in multiple locations, it also became difficult to locate older invoices when they were needed.

“We needed to reduce the time between when an invoice was received and when it was paid. At the same time, we wanted to make it easier to find invoices later on, no matter which office you were in,” the company explains.

In 2005, Mårdskog & Lindkvist began using Conrab Opto, which was directly integrated with their business system. Two years later, the partnership was expanded. When version 6 was released, the company decided to upgrade to gain access to even more features and modules.

The upgrade process was characterized by close collaboration. Mårdskog & Lindkvist underwent training, tested features in a dedicated test environment, and continuously verified that everything was working smoothly with their business system.

The difference is clear. Invoice processing, which previously required extensive manual work, is now largely automated:
