Introduction

We process your personal data in order to be able to communicate with you as a contact person of a company that cooperates and/or has an agreement with Conrab Opto, either as a customer or as a supplier. Conrab Opto provides information to our partners regarding Conrab Opto's activities and sends newsletters to contact persons of customers, among other things.

The only thing saved locally in your browser is a language setting.

We process your personal data in order to communicate with you as a stakeholder of our Conrab Opto system. We use this personal data only to send you newsletters about features that we hope will be of interest to you.

As a rule, we do not share your personal data with any third party. However, in the course of providing IT services, our IT providers may have access to personal data and other information in IT systems when providing operational or support services. However, such IT service providers do not process your personal data for their own purposes, but only on behalf of Conrab Opto.

For example, we provide personal data on our customer invoices to our partner for the distribution of the customer invoice. However, our partner does not use this data for its own purposes but only to transmit the name of the customer invoice sent to you.

The legal basis for Conrab Opto's processing of your personal data as a contact person for Conrab Opto's partner companies is Conrab Opto's legitimate interest (balancing of interests), as set out in Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Conrab Opto's legitimate interest is that Conrab Opto's processing of your personal data is necessary to facilitate and ensure effective communication between Conrab Opto and you as a contact person/representative of partners and companies in an appropriate manner.

You have the right to obtain confirmation from Conrab Opto as to whether personal data relating to you is being processed by us and, if so, to obtain access to the personal data and information relating to the processing, such as the purposes of the processing and the categories of personal data to which the processing relates.

If you believe that the personal data that Conrab Opto holds about you is incorrect, for example name and address information, you have the right to have the information corrected and completed.

You have the right to have your personal data erased, for example if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, if you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing.

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, with the exception of storage. You can exercise this right if, for example, you dispute the accuracy of your personal data or if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR (balancing of interests), including profiling based on these provisions.

If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing, including profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.

You have the right to obtain the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to Conrab Opto, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have these data transferred to another controller, provided that the processing is automated and that the processing is based on consent or on a contract.

As a matter of policy, Conrab Opto only processes personal data within the EU/EEA. In the event that personal data is nevertheless processed outside the EU/EEA, this will only occur provided that it is permitted under the GDPR and provided that the European Commission has assessed that there is an adequate level of protection in the third country, after we have taken appropriate safeguards under the GDPR or that another ground for such transfer under the GDPR is applicable.

Conrab Opto may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time during the term of this Privacy Policy if necessary to comply with legal or regulatory requirements or if required by changes in Conrab Opto's business.

In such circumstances, Conrab Opto will use reasonable efforts to provide information to you that is affected by the changes as required by applicable law. Current information will be available in this Privacy Policy, on the Conrab Opto website and/or provided by other means.

Please do not hesitate to contact Conrab Opto if you are for any reason dissatisfied with our processing of your personal data.
